Green Beat Nexus
A support scheme focused on environmental transition in the music sector, providing funding and guidance for projects addressing sustainability challenges. It is designed for organisations such as venues, festivals or music professionals willing to test and implement greener practices. The open calls offer financial support combined with capacity-building to develop concrete, low-impact solutions.
What gets funded
- Initiation of Greening: sustainability assessments, capacity-building, governance tools, initial implementation of green practices
- Optimisation of Greening: innovation and optimisation of existing practices, collaboration, addressing climate justice and regional imbalances
- Empowering the music ecosystem to implement and inspire systemic change: scalable solutions, cross-sector collaborations, creative approaches, policy engagement to strengthen climate resilience and social impact
The programme DOES NOT support heavy investment (buildings, equipment).
What your project needs to address
Projects must explicitly align with the EU Green Deal objectives. They must seek to integrate sustainability as a core and transversal principle across all levels of the music related actions, from grassroots initiatives, amateur and community music, education and training, through to large-scale music events, festivals, touring, while looking at sustainability aspects of streaming and new technologies as well.
